We had a great time with Tiery. He showed us south Kyoto, gave a lot of information and even learned us to count to 10. We strongly advise to take the bike tour with Cycle Kyoto!

We did the Kyoto South course tour with Tiery. Great way to see some of the sights of Kyoto while doing some exercise. Tiery was engaging and entertaining. Good bikes, and the course is mostly flat and goes through some minor traffic at times. I’m...More

We decided to go for full day tour and our guide was Jamie. We learned a lot about Japanese culture and history from him. More than we learned in past 5 days in Japan. The knowledge the guide can share makes the difference in a...More

Biking in Kyoto was, uh, "exciting" at times with seemingly no bike traffic rules. But that didn't stop this from being a 5 star experience. Our guide was as knowledgeable as he was charming at the bikes were in excellent condition. In spite of the...More

We opted for the full day tour and had a fantastic day with Jaime and the rest of the group. The group size of eight was perfect -- small enough for everyone to be engaged in the tour/conversation, but large enough to feel as if...More

Kyoto is definitely a bike town and this was the perfect way to explore it. Remi was our very knowledgeable guide and he made the tour a great experience. It gets kind of crazy riding through the small streets, but you just have to pay...More

Southern Kyoto
Southern Kyoto has a reserved air. Though the Fushimi
Inari Shrine is one of Kyoto's major tourist
attractions, the surrounding nature, parks, gardens,

strolling and reflection. The Fushimi Inari Shrine
itself is made up of 32,000 sub-shrines, and the
mountain they are dotted across beckons hikers,
picnickers, and lovers of the outdoors. Many of the
