This temple has sprawling grounds and I was fortunate to see a couple of cherry blossoms. Not very touristic but nice nevertheless.

It is a beautiful place to impress. The people are not crowded, the atmosphere is good, the buildings feel like Japan.

Recommend allowing at least 1.5 hours to visit this temple, its grounds are quite spread out. As you enter, the 5 storey pagoda and cherry trees are straight ahead up the hill, the rock gardens with water feature and beautiful temple buildings to look inside...More

I dont recall much of the temple, but what will stay in memory for long is the endless clusters of cherry blossoms. Since I visited in early April, and several other places the cherry blossoms had falling petals, it was a delight to go to...More

Visited this place in the morning when there is less people. It was pretty since its cherry blossom season. The pagoda is beautiful. The entrance of this temple really stood out for me as it was really pretty in pink.

The Cherry trees garden is amazing. Any other spot in the city is at shame if compared o Ninna-ji garden. A place to come for Sakura.

I visited this temple of the day I visited Kinkaku-ji temple. The gardens are beautiful, and were especially so since we went in full bloom cherry blossom season. Worth a stop.
