Nice view and good place to think or daydream over a cuppa and a snack. The food is not that great, but it can satisfy when hungry... or have the sweeter fare with a cuppa if just in a "pause" kind of mood (recommended).

Its totally free and you can go there during opening hours as long and as often as you like. You can see the seaside and also the mountainside.

This is an unprepossessing building which one would not realise held such lovely views from the top. It is in fact an office building housing a great number of office staff, considering it has 24 floors, but the signage for tourists indicating which lift to...More

I happened to stay nearby. Just went up to see the city in the morning. It was free and nothing spectacular but enjoyable. There were a Korean restaurant and ucc coffee shop. Good place to have some quiet time. There was a large sitting place...More

There is no charge to go up here, so it is a very good value observation deck. There is a dedicated (red in colour) lift to go up to the 24th floor. Nothing flash, but it is free, and the views are good, over the...More

It is just too funny to go here. We made the mistake to exit on a wrong floor, and than you are thrown back 40 years in an old office building of the city hall, so funny! The observation deck is a very posh word...More

Love observatories and this one was no different, but don't expect the Tokyo municipality experience. Views are limited by restaurants and offices, but you'll definitely get your share of this waterfront city surrounded by mountains. Very easily accessible and free.

Just next to Sannomiya Station in Kobe, directly south in a mostly office and work area is the Kobe City Hall, next to a similar but more smaller and wider municipal building. There are clear signs on the door and the floor near the elevator...More

Great view of both the mountains and the port, as well as downtown Kobe. 360 Viewing, as well as a small restaurant. Good for a short visit, and the free admission is a bonus.
