One heck of a drive up to the top of Mt Rokko and once there the views are quite breath-taking. There is an observatory, but the place really hits the highs at night, when Kobe turns into a myriad of lights - stunning! The restaurant...More

Nice view, even though we visited on a rainy day. Locals suggested still better view on clear days, when you can even see the Kobe harbour. The gift shop (peter Rabbit shop) is nice, with many interesting gift items. Area is well-maintained.

Taking the cablecar up Mount Rokko, you can take advantage of the spectacular views of Kobe Harbour and the local area. There is a café and gift shop at the summit and here you can buy local produce to enjoy yourself or give as gifts.

This is really a nice place for spending half an hour wondering around it with ice cream in hand or sitting at a table in an open-air cafe in shade of greenary.
