It is one boutique after another, but more so parallel streets as well! It is a more manageable shopping area than the ones you have in Tokyo or Kyoto.

This is just one of many covered shopping streets in Kobe. We did not find any shops of interest to us, but it was a good place for a walk on a rainy day!

This shopping area is big, but I didn’t think the stores were trendy enough. The area is older it seems, trash everywhere and dirty. The area wasn’t crowded on a Monday mid morning, which was good, but I didn’t find too many things to buy.

The closest station would be Sannomiya Station itself. If you have to take a different line in, try to find a station that’s closest to or transits near Sannomiya, as it is a terminal stop.
