This was the second stop on our tour of Sapporo. The history and views were amazing. Stopped in the snow festival museum that showed models of all of the previous festivals. Pretty amazing what can be done with snow!

At first, I was a bit surprised by having to pay the entrance fee (520 yen each) ... thinking it was just a lookout. However, being winter there were lots of small activities available for free. You could build a snowman or snow-woman ... try...More

I bet it will be more fun to come during winter. There were nothing much here, except for the sheep lazing in their little wooden house and there are also some small outdoor eateries that sell really fresh grilled oysters. Can try the soft serve...More

This was a stop on an afternoon bus tour of Sapporo. We spent about an hour here, which was plenty of time considering the frigid weather. I checked out the view, took photos of the statue of the revered Dr. Clark, crawled inside an igloo,...More

Went amid the heavy snow in January. They had a few things for little kids to do - ice bikes, snowman building, tube sledging... really nice, and beautiful location. The cafe wasn't bad either. Nice butter jacket potato.
