Accessible by bus from Teine train station. Mt. Teine's snow is real powder so my first time skiing was quite enjoyable. No injury even while I was "falling and rolling" down the steep slope. Your can have a day trip from Sapporo city center to...More

This ski field is excellent as a day trip from Sapporo. Beginners don't go to Highland, start off at Olympia as the courses at the tops aren't really for you. The powder is great and not as busy as some of the more famous resorts.

Although a small ski resort it has the most incredible view. You can see out over Sapporo from the mountains and even out of sea.
