This small skiresort is the place to be when the fresh snow starts to fall. Inside the resort boundaries treeskiing possibilities are numerous. Outside, using gates 6 and 10 is fabulous.
Ps: bring fat ski's ;-)
We took a train to reach Makomanai station first and change to a taxi to the ski area at north slope, which will cost around ¥1500. Only north slope entrance will rent the ski set. Staff there are friendly but can only speak limited English....More
