Hefang street is lively and colorful to visit at night. There are no harassment from merchants. Yes it is similar to other Chinese pedestrian street. However, the alley way is quite relaxing and calm. The street is really nice from wall arts to red lanterns....More

Lovely street filled with tiny shops. Shop frontages look authentic and there are lots of traditional Chinese products to buy. Street food was on offer as well as Tea Shops! Worth visiting and allow a couple of hours. We probably should have bargain but the...More

Somehow I like the streets and the hidden alleys behind the main streets. They are a lot of shops, in particular shops that sell candies or the famous Dragon Well tea. We spent two hours walking the street. The Nansong Yu street is even prettier....More

From crazy guys banging hammers on fresh food to the sound of the coolest beats to weird drinks filled with smoking dry Ice this is a wonderfully weird and wacky location to visit. It’s a sort of mixed up surreal druggy kind of reality where...More

You can always find this kind of old streets in China cities which filled with different shops. There is a shop worth visiting which is made of bronze including its walls, chairs, floor tiles and windows.

I'm not a shopping person so my main aim was to soak in the atmosphere and scenes. It's actually quite beautiful and not as rowdy as I expected of a market. There are some sections that are a tad more crowded but overall definitely worth...More

It's a tourist trap for sure, but it's still interesting to have a wander through and to eat some street food. Vibrant and entertaining for an hour or so.

If you’re looking to buy some local goods and try some street food, Hafeng is OK for that but otherwise I’d skip the area. You could easily do this street in a hour. I didn’t visit this area at night though and my hotel concierge...More

Took a cab from Lingyin Temple to Hefang Street. It was nice to get out and walk but the street and surrounding streets were nothing special. Was hoping to see more traditional stores and structures but everything seemed touristy and somewhat new. Also the area...More
