This is a very old Buddhist temple with plenty of Buddha’s and other gods. The lake gives a tranquil experience and the temples and flags make very colourful. It is a tranquil area away from the city bustle.

One of the most fascinating sites I have ever visited. Entering the temple complex you will forget being in the middle of a loud, quickly developing mega-city. Take time, don't rush - it is worth spending there hours.
This is a small gem of a temple complex. Simply lovely, both energetically and visually.

This Buddhist temple was impressive, with many places to explore. Keep walking in to find some lovely surprises. It's so peaceful and beautiful. There were many monks walking around when we were there (snapping photos with their phones!).
Nice place to spend time there, Paid about 16RMB for entrance and lightening. It looks like a Tibetian Culture temple and located in side city. Not bad we can go see the different culture and their prayers.

The airport is about 30~60 minutes away from the city and traffic there is really unpredictable and can really bad if you're caught. I think if you would still like to leave the airport to take a breather, go to Green Lake (翠湖). When returning to the airport, try to avoid the evening peak hour. Cabs usually charge by meter when leaving the airport but charge between RMB120-150 from city to airport.
