The rude staff sells only one way tickets for the upper cable way - so you have to buy another ticket to return. but they don't say this down at the beginning. Nearly no English and the fact they take 8 or 9 times a...More

We love this place and have come many times. We take the cable car over the lake and up the mountain, then switch to the chair lift. Then there is a 10-15 minute walk up stone steps to a viewing platform. On the way down...More

Take the metro to West Park then walk a long way or take the bus up the hill and the gondola to visit this spectacular cliff side attraction. Nice for a half/full day with brilliant city views and great history

It's a nice place to walk up or down while you may enjoying the scenary and the view of the lake. It's still a bit dangerous and need to be extra careful especially during raining day as the path is too slippery.

After exiting metro station do not worry and take a minivan uphill. It goes from the northern side and would bring you directly to the top.

On the edge of Kunming City is the spectacular Dragon Gate walk and observation area. It's a short bus or taxi ride from anywhere in Kunming and it offers the most spectacular views and outlook right over Kunming City. Its a really long walk, up...More

Descriptions about how to get there and what the task really entails lack detail. Nearest metro is Western Hills Park on line 3; the park actually starts at this station. Even though the web says to walk southeast for 1.5 km, the Dragon Gate (long...More

This place is said to be one of the most ideal place for hiking. It is also full of stories. Can be quite crowded during weekends and holidays.

don´t know if it is possible but in my opinion complitely unessesary. it´s just a nice park if you want to learn about daoism you will need a translator and talk with the monks (if they are real...) there.
