Everyone will meet at the lobby of Tang Dynasty Palace by 7:00pm for you to get a ticket with your name. Enjoy the Splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show with fabulous music and dancing of Tang Dynasty, China's golden age. The show is also a different way for you to get to know the historical culture of ancient Xian city. What is great about this excursion is that it combines two great elements in one tour - an entertaining show and dumpling banquet that indulge all your senses. The dumpling banquet comes with approx. 18 varieties of dumplings including pork, chicken, mushroom and duck with leeks, carrots, lotus roots and more. The dumpling banquet starts around 7:00pm and after dinner you will enjoy the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. The show ends about 9:40pm and the tour ends at the Tang Dynasty Palace.

We decided to include the dumpling dinner option. If you do come hungry, they kept bringing out 2 of each type until we were both overstuffed. After the show was great. Our table was upstairs which gave us a great view of the pagentry.

Was this truly authentic? No Was it artistic mastery? No Was it fun? Yes. If you're not a purist you'll enjoy the live music and dancing, although it is a little cheesy. It ran about an hour, so you get your money's worth but you...More

Our dinner was in the theater right before the show. Makes it very convenient, and our seats for the show were excellent (at our dinner table). During dinner, musicians on stage will serenade you with traditional Chinese instruments. Dinner was average. The show is elaborate—...More

Very good show with acrobatics and somptuous costumes. We knew the story from our guide so we understood what was happening. The show was beautiful, something different, part of the experience of the visit.

don't be conned into buying the dumpling banquet. The food was absolutely gross , dumplings were cold and the skin so thick. Staff were rude and hygiene levels questionable. The show was ok, but totally not worth the money paid.

Went to this show as an add on to our tour. It was quite interesting learning more about the cultural side of the Tang Dynasty.

We took this as an optional tour through Sinorama and we're glad we did. The dumpling banquet was impressive and some of the best food we tasted on the trip. Everything was so very fresh. Once we were finished our meal, we saw others come...More

This bilingual show was visually spectacular and I would have given it an Excellent rating but the dinner beforehand was so rushed, it detracted from our evening's enjoyment. I would recommend booking the show only which was not a choice for us as this was...More
