We had a great view of the Bell Tower from our hotel and the illumination at night was great. We decided not to pay the admission fee to climb the tower, but I would advise an evening visit as the view is much better.

Easy to get to from the subwas and it is close to the entrance to the Moslem Quarters so do the Bell and the Drum Tower, then visit the Moslem Quarters. The two probably will take you less than an hour and are worth doing.

The whole thing can be completed in 25 minutes and we came by taxi spend about 80 yuan to see this. Finally it was not so remarkable as the terra cotta warriors and not great memories i will have of this visit.

Located in an easily accessible area of xian. We visited before opening hours which was a positive as there were no crowds. For us we took photos outside which was enough.

Fun place to visit late in the evening! It is so beautifully lit up! Don't need a guide for this, but if you need a great guide, I highly recommend Bryan Bai. His website is xianhistorytourguide.com
