If I remember correctly, I was there in Oct 2011, problem with your selection date. Guilin is one of the most scenic and beautiful part of China, from the river cruise to the Fubo Hill and the caves. It is a very enchanting place.

Probably the best place to get a bird’s eye view of the city and Li river with the karst mountains in the background after a breathless climb. There are a few other items of historical interest within the park including the Thousand Year Pot, Iron...More

A very difficult walk up very steep steps, the views across the city are worth it. The gardens here are another draw, one of main attractions.

We hiked to the top but be forewarned...by hiking it really means stair climbing. I have a knee issue and I just wished it was real hiking and not stair climbing. Good 360 views from the top to get an overview from the city.

Stopped by for a nice walk up Fubo Hill to excellent city and river Li views. Buddha carvings and the stalagmite cut off by General Fubo (so the tale goes).

Beautiful park to go running in and very quiet early in the morning. Even some tai chi practitioners I joined in with.

Cheep entry and an easy climb to the top. Wonderful views of the city and the surrounding countryside. You can get a complete perspective of the place.

very good view when you make it to the top. Steps in the higher part of the hill are narrow and with the crowds going up and down it makes it difficult to enjoy it.
