We had a private guide who took us up the Folded Brocade Hill. Even thought it was hazy, views from the top were outstanding. There are a lot of stairs and so this sight is not for those who can't climb a lot of stairs....More
We went here purely because it was cheaper than some of the ridiculously overpriced attractions of Guilin (and at CNY32 this was also overpriced) because we were told you could get good views and it was fairly easy to walk around.

despite having a flight to catch at lunch that day, I sprinted up to the highest point.Glad I did. Beautiful view over Guilin. Would have loved to spend more time in this beautiful park. maybe next time.
Diecai Hill is situated where the 4th of the 4 Lakes joins the Li River. It's many steps to climb up but go close to sunset (or sunrise I imagine) for some lovely views of Guilin and the gorgeous surrounding Carst Hills.
