The area shows European influence in the construction, there is a small church in the northeast part of the island. There are bronze sculptures worth looking at. The trees are beautiful in that area.

Many shops near the White Swan Hotel on Shamian Island. Don't purchase at the shops inside the hotel, as the prices are outrageous.

Shamian island itself is so small so maybe look around nearby. Sorry, can't help more:)
