Situated near the Opera House. This building was inaugurated in 2013. From outside it looks like an upside down building quite surprising and inside it is a very modern conception covered with a glass ceiling containing traditional and digital resources much up to date and...More

This building has a interesting exterior building design. However, I found its interior is much more impressive. The open courtyard is very unique. I do enjoy the traditional study set up in the main floor wing.

We did not risk to enter inside the building, though it was raining. But we took tons of great pictures of this modern architecture building. Maybe, next time we'll venture inside!

Even if most of the books are in mandarin, it is worth visiting. Last floor is furnished with old traditional wood chairs, desks and tables that make you feel back in time. Also a nice cofee bar at the 8th floor. Avoid the lunch breaktime,...More

This is a nice building with a lot of curves in the big square. Very modern & distinctive so we wanted to head there to take a look immediately. It was closed so we couldn’t go in but there is a 24 hour drop and...More

Whilst in the area shopping and visiting the museum next door, we popped into the library. It is a very impressive looking building, and one of the biggest libraries that I have been in. Upon entering you're met with security scanners, so we followed a...More
