Saint Petersburg metro is so clean and beautiful. I so like the marble used for the floors and the walls. It does not look like a metro 😀

The Saint Petersburg Metro system is one the easier metros to work your way around and navigate from stop to stop. In fact, we found it better than the Moscow Metro. The Saint Petersburg Metro is deep and windy with very long escalator journeys too....More

We went for a snow drive from Moscow to St. Petersburg via the rural Russian villages and towns. I would rate this as my battery holiday adventure.

Single fare for any trip 45RUB (Jan 2018). I just bought 10 in one go but if you are staying for any length of time you should look at the travel cards that allow you to charge them you with credit at a slightly cheaper...More

It's probably pointless to review a subway system since everyone would naturally see it to get the function but both the system in Moscow and this one were fantastic. They were not only efficient, inexpensive, and fast travel options but also spectacularly decorated, amazing open...More

Very efficient and cheap metro. 45 rubles each for each journey irrespective of where you go. Very necessary as a tourist to get to some of the places as there is still a lot of walking involved. Very deep into the ground.

We made a special journey on the metro to visit the metro ! First of all, it's cheap : 45 rubles per journey, no matter the length of journey. Then, it's clean and comfortable. Then, most importantly, many of the stations are incredibly ornate and...More

Interesting! From handicap access to the enormous escalators (can't imagine what would happen if they broke down) to the beautiful mosaics below, this what a great intro to the St. Petersburg Metro.

If you do your homework and choose the station to visit this is a good way to spend a couple of hours. The metro is comfortable but it is the station decoration that is worth the effort. Not all stations are the same but some...More

The Saint Petersburg metro is better than any I have seen in the states. Yes, it pales in comparison to Moscow's metro, where every station is a work of art by itself. Moscow is the capital, and Saint Petersburg's metro was built much later when...More

Get a Metro Tour, it is one of the cheapest and the guide would tell you all about the history of the art/stations, that is priceless!

I am sorry. I cannot answer this. We rode the Metro in St. Petersburg and did not go to Moscow. You might check their website.
