Included in the Hermitage ticket. Lovely building, cool, calm, uncrowded, big rooms, well laid out. Use the bathrooms here, take a moment to collect yourself after the crowds at the Hermitage. Fabulous collection of Impressionists. Do a little homework to get the most out of...More

This is an amazing place. Just about every Impressionist artist, plus Picasso, Van Gough, Renoir and Monet. Terrific!

Just across from the Hermitage, this is included with your ticket. It opens at 10:30am. There are some interesting displays, art, and some historic rooms. But it does not compare to other museums in St. Petersberg.

Viewed the building from the outside while passing by- was struck at how stunning it was. The arch entrance is quite nice.

Save time to see the must-see art collections at The General Staff Building. There's nothing like walking right in front of paintings by Degas, Picasso, Matisse, Latour (if you're a sucker for Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art).

This building is on the square opposite the former Winter Palace, now Hermitage Museum. It's impressively elegant. When we were there earlier this month part of it was under renovation but they use a covering over the scaffolding that mimics the building's façade which I...More

We went up several flights of stairs to get to it. I don’t recall what floor but I used the map they give you as a reference. The impressionist exhibit was worth the visit. They had virtual reality history tour in the main... More
