Built to memorialize Alexander II following his assassination in 1881, this magnificent church with Italian pink marble floors and numerous mosaics was modeled after 16th and 17th century churches, contrasting sharply with the prevailing architectural styles.

Even though it had scaffolding on the top it is still a spectacular building. Free to walk around the outside. 250rb to go in.

Like all churches/cathedrals in Europe simply gorgeous. It makes you wonder how they could build such a structure virtually by hand

The story of the church is interesting and is very beautiful and impressive from the outside. It is recommended on a beautiful day to enter the park near the church

This church was the one that you see in all the tourist photos... and this church was absolutely the most beautiful church...with the colorful minarets at the top....and situated just on the canal so you can see it from the water or from the street....More

Very beautiful church, all decorated with mosaics, very beautiful but with sad history in its origin and then in the war.

I don’t think it is necessary to take a tour to visit the Abovementioned Churches. They are easy walks and access. Enjoy!
