We visited here and were allowed to photograph inside this beautiful church. I have been to many Orthodox churches in Moscow, Novgorod and St Petersburg and this one is just as beautiful if not more so.

Lucky to be here on a sunny day and the whole thing just sparkled in the sunshine. Really beautiful both inside and out. The colours and the mosaics were so lovely.

Built in the typical Russian style this modern building has a commanding position as it rests on the hillside overlooking the city. It is a glorious picture of white stone capped with gold and blue onion domes.

this wonderful new cathedral is well worth the visits and it has a commanding location at the top of a hill road overlooking the town well worth a visit when you are in town
