Even though it is a reconstruction, the exterior is a sight to behold. Well worth a visit even if you do not want to see the interior. Combine it with a stroll in the estate.

This is a nice enough reconstruction of a traditional wooden palace. One can imagine that the real thing must have looked somewhat similar. But with so many true sites to see in and around Moscow, are you really going to waste your time going inside...More

This is must see in Moscow. The palace is completely built in wood. I could not to see inside of the palace, because I had a baby with stroller and there is no way for strollers. However outside of the palace is very beatiful.

The palace is a reconstruction of the 17th-century tsar's palace. The original used to stand in a different part of the park. The place is worth visiting to see the interiors in which tsars used to live and work. Take a look at some of...More

The original wooden palace - very picturesque - was made in the times of Peter the Great father (Peter himself lived here as a child). You may have an impression how the royal family lived in their (more or less private) palace. The building nowadays...More

This is trully a must see in Moscow. The palace is completely built in wood, and the interiors are so great that you will have a hard time for closing you mouth. Very well organized and charming.

It is a unique wooden palace which is one of its kind. Problem is this place was only reconstructed not too Long again. Though some of the objects within may be original, it's still a bit fake...

This is a different looking type of palace with it's wooden features, green windows, rooftops and canopies. I didn't realise it was wooden until I got there so it was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately it was closed as I arrived rather late in the day...More

The whole place is totally new, reconstructed just some five years ago according to the drawings of the 17th century. It's hard to judge the degree of authenticity, but the architecture is totally weird - you'll never see something like this anywhere in the world.
