This is one of the most happening place where there is some events going on and with knowledge about pre historic era for children.

It's a 4-story building housing permanent collection and 6-story exposition center with temporary exhibits. We spent 5 hours there and still did not see everything! Great collection of animals with an emphasis on natural variation within each group as a result of regional adaptation. Kids...More

The museum is good but there's a lot of things you have to pay extra for an also a lot of the signs are only in Russian. it is a nice way to spend the time if it's raining though.

Interesting permanent exhibition centered in the evolution of the species. Quite old-fashioned. A good place to take the kids.

A natural History museum in Moscow with lots to see and based on Darwin's theory. Recently enjoyed a school visit where pupils took part in a Quest activity. Also worth a visit if not with school children.

The only disadvantage of the State Darwin Museum is its location - it's so far away from anything of interest and even from metro. Taxi is your best bet. But then it gets interesting even before you've entered the museum - there are statues of...More

Great for grown-ups and kids of all ages. Educational and fun. Only 2 hours required to see all halls.

I highly recommend Moscow for all solo traveler that you are safe and nothing to worry, All tourist attraction is amazing and many restaurant bar anywhere you go :) Enjoy!!

I finally got around to visiting the Darwin museum here in Moscow. Well worth it! The little one loved seeing all manner of animals up close. The layout and dioramas were well done. I suppose my only complaint is a minor one, and not one...More
