the 70 acres of the Kremlin are as interesting as it can get. With the churches and museums the wait in line was worth it. Be prepared to walk a lot and take your time to see everything. With all the towers and the wall...More

We were lucky to have the Friday with such a nice spring weather after the usual day-off on Thursday for the while complex including the Red Square. Take your time and walk around the fortress. Feel the majesty and the scale of this treasure place.

You do not need a guide to walk around Red Square but it is helpful to hear about the history of the buildings. Trinity Tower is one of the two entrances to the Square and was built in 1495.

You can spend a long time wandering around this area, and surprisingly accessible it is too. Well maintained, as you wander the perimeter the high light for me was the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and changing of the guard. There are towers, some very...More

If you are a tourist, you just have to visit this amazing fort from the inside. I would advise an afternoon visit to avoid the massive queues in the morning.

There is no charge to enter Red Square or the Kremlin. At night Red Square is all lite up, looks beautiful. I do not know that access to the Kremlin is available in the evening.
