This is a lovely cyan building located on the old Arbat pedestrianized street. However, the museum itself is rather small and there are no English explanations at all (unless you take the English guided tour). Skip the museum and just admire the lovely building.

The blue Pushkin House Museum on Old Arbat Street is easily accessible and the exhibits on Pushkin life time can be found there. For non-Russian visitors, try to take an English language audio guide for easy understanding on what you see at site.

I went there on our last morning right when it opened. Took for once an English language audioguide.Five or six beautifully reconstructed rooms where Pushkin resided before he was killed in his duel. Good helpful audioguide, quietly dignified exhibits. It is a good idea to...More

During the Soviet era communal apartments were located here, so there's nothing from a real Pushkin life (he lived just 1 year here) Yes, there are some exhibits, taken from antiques stores. And note, most things are never been owned by Pushkin! These things are...More

Just wandering in one of the most beautiful streets in Moscow, the Old Arbat, we suddenly found ourselves in the front of this very nice building. Here, after getting married with Natalia Goncharova, Pushkin and his young wife moved in. That was a rented house...More

I really enjoyed visiting this Museum. It is officially the A.S Pushkin Memorial apartment. It is part of the A.S. Pushkin State Museum which has several other locations. Pushkin lived briefly at this location before he moved to Saint Petersburg. The museum gives a good...More
