The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is a Russian Orthodox cathedral in Moscow, Russia, on the northern bank of the Moskva River, a few hundred metres southwest of the Kremlin. With an overall height of 103 metres (338 ft), it is the tallest Orthodox Christian church in the world.

This cathedral has less than 10 years It s a nice place Pictures are forbidden inside as all churches in Russia that are use for ceremony Don’t miss the second church in the basement , more intimated

A very prominent church that can be recognised from afar. Beautiful interiors. Go early as the tour groups typically arrive in the afternoon.

This reproduction cathedral stands high above the river with its beautiful golden dome. When you go by, it really takes your breath away!

This church was free to enter as there are still daily services there. We were part of a small group tour but there was no fee being charged for individual people coming in and no ticket vending booth. I believe there might... More
