Easy to find super exhibition center, has original uniforms and weapons, amazing volume of original items. Get the audio guide in English as most exhibits do have English translated tags but is tedious to read and breaks the flow of the development of the time...More

This is a small museum and cab easily be done in an hour. One negative is that generally all commentaries are in Russian so other than the exhibits and reading the plaques next to every display, one loses a lot of what is depicted on...More

Very interesting collection of exhibits. Central position, next to Red Square. Maybe worth going to if you're caught in the rain!

I recommend this museum to anyone. It is big enough to take up maybe two hours of your time which I feel is just right. There are lots of artifeacts from the wars ranging from cavalry weapons to canons. There are plenty of stunning painting's...More

... otherwise you just are walking in awe through the collection of original weapons, uniforms and paintings of the museum. Still interesting for a quick walk-through. Unfortunately this museum has no audioguides.
