Perhaps it is the oldest shopping spot and similar to what the modern shopping malls are today. The architecture and size are typical for the giant Moscow. Take a moment and some cash to “enjoy” the luxury toilet in place.

Went for a look around as very hot out in red square. It is adjacent to it Was beautifull building, but very expensive designer shops and very busy with people browsing outside But shops looked empty

Yes, in the third aisle on ground level there is a large delicatessen. The black sturgeon caviar is hugely expensive but the red salmon caviar is more reasonably priced. The Russian for caviar is ‘Ikra’.
