We were so looking forward to a performance at the Nikulin. Unfortunately for us, they were 'on break' until October 2018. Pity.

To our surprise, $30 apiece got us fabulous tickets midway up the relatively intimate arena and directly across from the stage above the ring. This was a one-ring circus, and the performance included live musical numbers and plenty of slapstick that might have been called...More

This was a very different experience from an American circus. It was smaller (one ring) and more personal. A man walks into the ring from the audience, puts on clown make-up at a little table, jumps into baggy pants and big shoes right before our...More

The Trapize artists were the best, did not like the life animals, all doing silly tricks for treats. Had to go as part as our tour.

Fantastic Russian artists and clown, everything will be great if they just stop using animals, specially wild animals. My daughter is ten and she couldn’t watch bears and tigers been forced to perform. Even though we love everything else, we would never come back until...More

This circus is using wild animals that should not be used as entertainment. These animals are being trained using punishments like (hot plates to get them to stand on two paws). Shame on anyone encouraging these circuses in 2018. Get with the times Moscow. Stop...More
