Red Square is a city square in Moscow, Russia. The buildings surrounding the Square are all significant: Nearby to the South is the elaborate brightly domed Saint Basil's Cathedral and the palaces and cathedrals of the Kremlin, Lenin's Mausoleum. On the Eastern side of the square is the GUM department store, and next to it the restored Kazan Cathedral.

Language a major hassle. Neat and clean but no help for non Russian speaking visitors. Book tickets to muesem online in advance as last minute entry is a problem. Travel light as a lot of walking involved

Rd SQuare is very large with cobblestones. From my expereince, very tough pushing a wheelchair, but hey. GUM (pronounced "Goom") department store is huge and amazing.

We visited the Red Square. It is an important tourist spot and every tourist must visit. It is a well maintained area.

Nice venue, beautifully renovated. Most probably in combination with the FIFA worldcup. Definitely a must go!

It a must to see in Moscow, but because of some activities which will be at the end of August and in beginning of September it almost all full. I recomend visit at end of September. Now you can see just edges of it.
