I am sure this is a lovely place. But, only one side church and a tower museum are open at the moment. The main cathedral and the rest of the buildings are undergoing renovations and cannot be seen. We did not bother going in once...More

Specialy the church is most be place for believers. There you meet with God for sure. Nuns, smell, prayer history - centuries. Nice and emotional.

One of the best Turkish patriotic writer Mr NAZIM HIKMET’s tomb is here. I was really so happy that he is sleeping such a beautiful place. So clean, so tidy and so cool cemetery. RIP NAZIM HIKMET....

Looks like a lovely place but most of it was shut for renovations when we visited. People were helpful and gave us information sheets in English.

I really enjoyed strollinh through the cemetary by the Novodrvichy Convent Lotd of Russian famous people is burried there Many of the tombstones are very interesting
