There are many much more interesting, impressive and important parts of Moscow to visit and see. This is just a symbol of USSR with its untruthful history and communism ideas which are still popular in Russia.

Impressive statue and a historical monument as well as a strange symbol of the city and its hard times

The statue is majestic, made from stainless steel by Vera Mukhina for the 1937 World's Fair in Paris. Proud of the glorious Soviet era.

Like most things in Russia, this piece of art is massive too. Its really hard to miss. Lies near the park, the memorial epitomizes the Russian spirit. The one that build the nation despite turmoils. A sight to watch...for sure

The whole place is huge, it was very cold tho, the ice skating is huge, we went in all of the building to warm up and jst chill for abit. Please go with yandex its easier.

Next to the VDMKh park you can find this magnificent monument to the Russian workers that represented Russia in the 1936 Paris World Fair.

I was in Moscow when they tore this down and stored it. I stood and watched it taken apart. I was there years later when they lifted it to it's new location, gloriously restored. This symbol of the USSR is stunning. It's down the street...More
