A very nice collection of paintings and personal things of Rerikh's family. I've been there 4 times - strongly recommend to everyone who is interested in his art.

The story of Nicholas Roerich and his family is a facinating one and some of his paintings are mesmerizing. He also founded a theosophical strand of philosophy. Helped to create treaty to protect cultural heritage. Recommended place to visit.

Roerich is outstanding human being. He is the painter, monk, scientist, explorer. This museum is about spirit, cosmic energy, universal love. Make sure you use audioguide.

First of all, this museum is worth visiting just only once in life, there are advantage and disadvantage.
