Timisoara is the Second important town of Romania after the Capital Bucharest - it is called the Town of Roses, and this park is one of the reasons.- it is half way between students campuses and City Center very popular with "young lovers", "old walkers"...More

We visited in february and there wasn’t much to it. The park seems awesome in summer, but has little to offer in winter.

The park is laid out well and I could see it being beautiful in peak bloom. Right now there were a few roses but many had died for the season. Would recommend going in the spring / summer

It's a lovely park, especially in springtime when it's full of roses. It has a romantic air, as it has a lot of banches hidden by rose bushes... a lot of arches covered in climbing roses... and it's right beside the Bega river. Another specially...More

Lots of wooden trellises have been provided but the floral display is meager. I expected to see more flowers at our visit in September.

This place is in the center of the city. It is a great place to go for a walk and also in spring/summer to have a look on the beautiful flowers. Near by there is also the childrens park. Perfect for family trips.

The park is filled with different types of roses that make it an attraction not only for plant lovers but also for wedding shooting or just for ordinary people looking to read a book. In the summer, the amphitheater opens to different types of events...More

The roses park is a pretty normal park with nothing amazing to visit, of course it's not bad , you can take some pretty nice pictures , but in the end it's just an average park.
