A must see when your visit Timisoara. The movie is the best part of the museum. Outside there is a part of the Berlin Wall.

I recommend visiting this museum if you visit Timisoara to learn about its important role in the revolution. It is deen very well and includes relevant art that is very moving.

Nice showing of what happened between 15.12-25.12.1989. In Romania. You can watch video (it is in the orice of the ticket) and you can see newspapers articles about romanian history. Prices are 10 Lei ( 2,20 €) but ig you want to take the picture...More

A sinister atmosphere. Dirty, messy space. Exposed materials are not cataloged and inscribed. You do not know what it is. The only thing you keep in mind is the hole in the flag. Is that a symbol?

A must visit if you are in Timisoara. You will need a good couple of hours to take in all this information and it will prove to be a very moving experience.

Your tour starts with a movie (approx. 30 minutes) about the history of Timisoara regarding Ceaucescu, communism and the protest against it. Great images are shown during this short movie. The museum has two floors and provides for a lot of information. Definately worth a...More

What seems like an unimpressive place at first then really comes to life with an excellent introductory video about the 1989 revolution and then explanations of what can be seen from staff that are knowledgeable and proud, quite rightly, of what they have achieved here....More
