The structure is huge and imposing. The setting is nice - in the middle of the square. You can rest a little on one of the benches near-bye or visit the cathedral.

Impressive monument to the Transylvanian hero of the 1848 revolt against Hungary. Really lovely setting within a fountain at the centre of the square.

Nice square in front the Orthodox Cathedral , however the statue itself it`s not a piece of art. On the opposite side you can see the National Opera that it`s worth visiting or attend a show.

The statue itself does not worth a visit...the plaza and surrounding areas ( buildings,the national theater and the cathedral) yes...the fountain surrounding it is ok especially if you catch evening hours when they play music along with a 'water dance' of the fountain. If you...More
