Planning my holiday in the Philipines was easy, major objextive was to get more SCUBA experience. After submitting three enquiries, one no reply, one after four days and MSDC within 3 hours, I decided to place my trust in them. Arriving at the centre I was welcomed with a huge smile from Rachel, and a cup of nice coffee. She introduced me to Ray, my diving instructor. I started with a briefing and context, did my refresher, and within one day Ray settled my nerves and helped me to master my boyancy which was a major concern Ray is a cool calm dude, pleasant personality but fun guy, ensuring my safety at all times. I did my advanced diving course with him, learning great skills, but still having lots of fun. I strongly recommend any diver who needs guidance to come and meet Ray, I also recommend MDSC for there professional, and caring approach. I now have a new family in Cebu, my type of people Have to mention, met a memaid, told me she loves me.....bet she tell that to all the divers, and, and wait for it (drum roll), I dived with a Whale Shark.....hoop hoop, wow…

Mactan Scuba Diving Centre.. Extremely Friendly owner and staff. But, I give submit my honest review at the request of one the owners.. Dives where fairly close to the boat launch area. We, (both of us), felt a little rushed on two days of diving (May 9th and 10th). But, there was a few issues . 1st- our qualifications where never checked. WTF? We never fully signed the required waiver! 2nd- The “Dive Guide” Ray-wanted to be a Instructor! I understand his passion, however,, I’m a Master Diver with many certs (Self Reliant, etc) His passion “made a negative impact” on first dive (yes, I addressed and corrected him) I had to inform him that a “guide is a Guide!” 3rd- price was not as posted, we was charged 2,000 pesos per dive…. 2 boat dives per day-average dive was 43 minutes- tanks were filled to only 2850 PSI- and we both came back with at least 800 PSI.. 2,000 for a 43 minute dive? WTF? Look at the advertised price! We was charged 4000 pesos for 2 short dives ( with snacks and rice and chicken lunch) But the price for 3 dives with lunch is only 4600 pesos? (We have our in gear) You do the math… I did not address this issue.. I paid and we went on our way .. So, In summary, this Dive Center is best suited for the beginner divers wanting to learn about diving! They will definitely teach you! Would we Dive with this shop again? Not on our bucket list Robert Pflugh Master Scuba Diver…

This dive shop exceeded all of my expectations. I had a personal team who made me feel safe every step of the way. Kuya Lito goes above and beyond to make sure that you’re prepared for any situation. The rest of the staff is just as amazing and they really make you feel like family. I highly recommend taking any courses here, or just going for some fun dives. They show you the best spots and point out the rarest fish. Hope to be back soon ❤️…
