Their staff in the ladies's section may not know what they're doing. My family shopped here once and found out that sales ladies are just standing there watching us shop but couldn't answer our questions in well-mannered way. Somewhat snobbish and even have to refer us to another sales lady for answers. My family had a complaint about the item we were purchasing but the supervisor even barely attended us! Very very disappointing.

We stayed at Movenpick in Lapu Lapu which offered mediocre services in general. We were looking at some nice island hopping nearby and found this guy, Raul Barrientos, who hangs outside the hotel. He sold us a nice island hopping day for PHP 3,500 for two which included the boat ride, snorkeling equipment and drinks (soft and beers).
We visited three islands, did some snorkeling and spent a great day. The third island was actually where we stopped for lunch. We chose fresh catches of the day: squid, prawns and clams and got them grilled for PHP 1,500.
I want to pinpoint the fact that when you're a couple (i.e. only two) you do get charged around PHP 5,000 per head for the same trip, which is outrageously expensive.
However, by looking a little outside the beaten tracks one can find reasonable prices outside. I am more than happy to recommend this guy and you can call him on [--]. He hangs around Movenpick and Shangri La. He also have a bunch of other water activities we did not try but appear to be at a lower price than those proposed by the hotels.
Have fun!

This is definitely worth a visit. Good hairdressers and massages. Fantastic department store. Levis Jeans and Jag also. So cheap. The best ever Mexican restaurant called Moon ran by an Aussie. Amazing prawns. We went back the next night for dinner as it was sooo good. Service is excellent. I had a leg massage on the third floor near to Moon restaurant. They are disabled people...partially blind...they did a great job.

I have retired in the Philippines and live quite close this store. I have found that the staff just cannot be bothered. You ask for items you cannot find and the answer most often is" sorry sir no stocks". You often find the item close by. The staff do not appear to be aware of what they sell and are lazy and surly too. I bought a foot pump recently which turned out to be faulty. I returned it within seven days in compliance with their receipt conditions. Upon arrival at the store the security man then had to write about four paragraphs about the return before we could enter the shop. Then it took no less than nine more people and 45 minutes before I blew my top and they agreed to exchange the pump for goods of equivalent value. If you are a foreigner and want to buy other than food stuffs, usually you have three or four staff following you around and watching your every move, which I find very irritating. I now use other stores which I have to say are not that much better.

I do knot understand the Filipino. They all must have hearing problems because the music is so loud that I had to leave as quickly as possible. Rude people pushing, cashiers never have change and even if they speak English, they do not understand

This was a 4 story mall in middle of a residential area. They had everything from fod to phones to arcade, to a fully stocked grocery store there.
The locals were not friendly there to foreigners, but their selection more than made up for that short coming. If souvineer is what you are looking for at a good , no, great price. This is the place that you want to make sure that is on your bucket list when you visit the citty of Cebu (Mactan Island).

This listing is for the Gaisano in Pajo.. Since then, they is another new Gaisano Grand Mall in Basak.. Both are very good for shopping and finding most anything you would need. Laid out good and easy to find most all things... Lot of small shops and food places. You can find almost anything here the same as you can in the City... I like the meats in the new Grand Mall.. Prices are not bad.. You might pay just a little more than in the City. The main thing i love about it, its easy access and you do not have to fight the traffic all the way to the City..

I'm living 5km from this mall. And it's really good place to shop coz the prices are affordable. And they have 50percent sale every month. But the things that make the mall bad are the slow cashers.
One time while I was having a last-minute shopping and bought a pair shoes, the line was really long way through the counter coz the cashiers were really slow. It took me 15 minutes to pay my shoes. And they even don't tell whether if it's ok not to give you cents for your change. The Hell it was just a matter of cents but it's a money, it also counts and they must be polite in giving change.

My fiance and I visited this mall to do some shopping and grab some lunch. It is a smaller and older mall, but we were able to find some good values on items we were looking to find there.
