This place was constructed way back in the early 1970's as a conservation center. Too bad it has been struggling with funds for years now and you can see this from the structure of the place itself. It is small and badly maintained. The cages are quite crammed and there are only a few animals on display (just a few birds, some barn animals, snakes, monkeys and wild cats). I even wonder why this place is still open. If you really want to see animals in a well maintained zoo, then just wait for the opening of the Cebu Safari and Adventure Park in Carmen next March 2018.

All the animals have been relocated to Carmen Cebu to New Adventure Park that's supposed to open by early 2018, but no exact date has been posted. Rumor has it that M Luiller has purchased assets and animals and relocated them to Carmen Cebu north of Danao City area

Great zoo with many different animals. Lots of walking between animal exhibits. Lots to see. The monkeys were great and you can have a picture taken with a giant boa constrictor around your neck! Dont miss it!

You can interact with animals and learn a lot about them through the staffs that are kind and informative. There are some places that are a bit hard to go to like the tiger area but its bearable. The place is surrounded by trees as well so its like you're in a forest filled with animals. Kids will definately love this place.

I visited the zoo and I saw rare kinds of animals for the first time. Most of them are endangered. . .

Their animals are few, not like other zoos, but i love the place. It's so peaceful and nature free. But its hard to go there. But over all, its good!

My girlfriend and I were in tears. So small cages for the animals. Animals were all dryed out and starving.

In every other country this Zoo would lawsuited for the horrible conditions were the animals live in.

Tripadvisor should remove this place from her site!

I wouldn't even call this a zoo or any other sort of functional facility. The was basically a run-down nature path with a few cages (most of which were empty). Apparently the zoo lost funding and the animals were transferred elsewhere. I think there was a snake, a dozen crocodile, and a few birds. The most interesting thing was a baboon with a chain around his foot climbing across a tight rope and making faces at us.

Even though it was only $1USD for 2 of us, it was far off the beaten path and the cab ride was significantly more.

VERY disappointing.

All animals except the crocodile have been removed and the site awaits being closed down. Not worth the visit
