We did canyoning at Badian with icanyon and our guide was RJ and I could not recommend them highly enough. We are older travellers 55-60 and were looking for confidence and knowledge from our guide. We had the best day - staring with ziplining and then canyoning, swimming , jumping off cliffs , swimming under waterfalls - all caught on camera by RJ. Nice feast for lunch after. Highly recommend icanyon and RJ.

Hiking, swimming, cliff jumping, ziplines and chasing waterfalls, it doesn't get much better than canyoneering in Cebu. Like a mixture of Zion national Park, Croatia, and Six Flags, canyoneering with no rope needed is an unparalleled experience. Doing it with MCM Badian ensures you'll be treated like family and there is no better guide than (King) Jovert.

This is an experience that's best done with a group of friends. In the city, we only really get to have meals with each other, share coffee, go malling and the like. Here, we can get physical! I had so much fun even if I'm not physically active because I got to live the experience with my friends. I also recommend it for couples. It's not everyday that you can be one with nature. It's a good way to bond for sure.

The guides at iCanyon are really great, well-trained and funny. I appreciate that they took the time to guide us through the course, and even take photos without rushing us to finish it.

The sad part is, because of Typhoon Odette that hit Cebu in December 2021, a lot of the lush greenery are gone... this was my first time coming but I've seen photos of how it used to look like. That was the disappointing part because I wanted to feel like I was in the middle of the forest. Nevertheless it was still a lot of fun. The trek to the start of the course was so draining but my energy returned when I got to swim!

Thank you also to CSP Cebu for taking my friends and I there. Everything was basically provided for already except food, water and tip for the canyoneering guides. We even got to borrow their go pros. By the way the local canyoneering guides can take photos for you if you really want to indulge in the course.

I also enjoyed the Filipino meal after. Such a nice, homey way to end the course. Everyone was nice and warm. I'd love to come back again one day with my partner.

Thanks to Turnt Tours for arranging our tour in Badian to experience canyoneering.

Be ready to jump though, at first you will be scared but on your second, third and so fort jump, it will be a great feeling! Such an adrenaline! But, shame, wasn’t able to jump at the 52ft 🙈, nervousness knocks on me first but my hubby did it!

Our tour guide (sorry, forgot his name 🙈), he’a very friendly and gives encouragement to jump, to try and he gives tips too, and he always say “safety first”, he does not insist as well if you don’t want to.

Overall! Amazing nature experience, the water is so clear, and the place is instagramable.

Few tips:
•Wear aqua shoes (you can buy your own or you can rent, they offer rental of aqua shoes as well).
•No need to bring a water proof bag ( our tour guide had it, where he puts our valuable stuff).
•Don’t wear jewellries, watches (even a sports watch) etc it might be loosen while you take dips and jumps throughout the tour. Learned from our own experience 🙈.
•If you have your own GoPro, rent or buy a selfie stick that floats. But here’s a good news for those who doesn’t have it, if you book your tour with Turnt Tour, they offer a free use of GoPro, depending on the package you book.

My family was strongly encouraged to canyoneer while in Cebu. Glad we took locals advise. Our guides Carlo and Gilbert were fantastic. Their # 1 priority was our safety and ensured our every step and jumps were safe which good instructions as well as their watchful eyes. They also took awesome pictures for us. They posed us with beautiful background scenes that we would never have noticed. They also gave us history of the area and pointed out sights to look at while in the canyon. Besides the jumps, they gave us experiences in sitting in small waterfalls, swimming, hiking. The whole experiences met beyond our expectations. Worth going and especially with this company. Lunch was amazingly good and large. We were unable to finish. Although it is not necessary to do all the jumps, the terrain is challenging and your need to be in relatively in good condition.

After our whale shark encounter in Oslob, we decided to do go canyoneering with MCM Badian Canyoneering. After a hearty lunch, we were fitted with our safety gear and brought to the starting point. I wasn't planning to join the group but joined at the last minute, since it seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime experience I didn't want to miss. And I am so glad I did! It was exhilarating! Those jumps and slides were so much fun! There's a lot of walking involved, through rocks and boulders. But the guides were very patient and very entertaining. This is a must-do when in Badian!

It was a truly exciting experience with lots of fun and jumps. However, do expect a few mandatory jumps throughout the route and not one as advised by tye website. Professional guides were very helpful!

Did the tour with a company called Denver canyoneering . Paid 1500 pesos each . Comes with equipment, lunch and tour guide . Our tour guide was only 19 years old name jake but was really helpful and made sure you enjoyed your adventure. The total hike to do the tour in about 6-7k
But on loose rocks and stones and uneven pavement . Oldest person to do this was 68 years old and youngest was 5 years old. I’m 32 and in average shape and it was a little hard for me but went through all the jumps and slides and had the best experience of a lifetime. If your scared of heights I say just do it . My uncle cam with me and he’s 58 and he was scared of heights . But did all the jumps and loved it . He wouldn’t do it again though . Everything is safe just listen to your tour guide . And watch where you walk. It’s about 4 hours from cebu city. The trip was fantastic . Two 👍🏽 up

I watched a couple of YouTube videos on canyoneering in Badian, it gives u some mental preparation on what to expect (slides, floating thru the canyon, 5-15m jumps off cliff). The most adrenaline rushing activity is jumping off the cliff into the pristine blue waters but not to worry, it’s an optional item and the guide will not pressure you to do it. The guide we had was very patient n helpful in ensuring safety. We had a 4am hotel pickup, 3 hours drive to see whale sharks and 1 hour drive to this canyoneering activity. You can complete both activity within a day and the package for both activities was about 90usd/pax

We were going to go whale shark watching but had read about the damage this causes so chose to do canyoneering instead, and we are so glad we did! My husband and I booked this through Island Trek Tours and it was absolutely brilliant from start to end. We were picked up from Cebu City at 5am in a private car and taken to Badian which took around 3 hours. When we got there, we met our guide (Loed) who fitted us with safety equipment and appropriate shoes. You get one guide with you for the trip...Loed was brilliant, making sure we were safe, encouraging us to do the jumps, but also acting as an amazing photographer/videographer for the whole trek - we have so many pictures/videos which we never would have been able to take ourselves. The views are incredible and the water slides/ jumps/ swing are such a fun way to get to the beautiful falls at the end. A must for Cebu (definitely do this rather than just visiting the falls alone).
