The place became lively starting at 6pm. Lot of people queuing to get in. The security is good. The first thing when you go in, you see many food stalls with limited selection of food, mostly offering grilled food, it has limited seats, so it is advisable to go early. The next block after food stalls are for people who want to have a.massage and relax. The last block consist of ukay ukay. There were fewer selections that during the pre-pandemic time.

Unfortunatelly there is nothing like a night market any more. As localc said - many bussinesses bancrupt during 2 years of Covid, rest closed because of bomb threat. Now on Roxas Avenue you can find a few BBQ restaurants an that is all. Not worth a visit.

It's a fun experience! But we had allergies right afterwards because of the tuna belly we ate. I think it wasn't fresh. Really cheap food, but be prepared to smell like barbecue. Drinks are cheaper too, but loaded with much sugar. The place was carefully monitored and heavily secured.

I went here 4 nights or so. I developed favorite spots and vendors. There are many vendors offering the same things. So, go pick out your favorite. No alcohol available and I didn't see any. At the very end are very nice and inexpensive massages. Just across the street from the Marco Polo, Do it.

If you want to go out at night to eat or to buy some "ukays" in davao, then roxas is the place you could go. It's a lot safer now and you might want to bring your ID for identification since the security now is tighter. Foods are super affordable, and there are a lot of "ukays" to choose from.

I took my fiancee here for street food. She is an american and I had her try balut and lots of street food. We love the experience, it is pretty secured with good police visibility. This place is safe and fun.

Bottom line — If you are looking for an opportunity to select from a wide variety of Philippine dishes, eat shoulder-to-shoulder in tight quarters with local Filipinos, and put up with the heat generated by all of the grills (on top of the already-humid weather), then the Roxas Night Market will not disappoint you. There are literally hundreds of stalls selling food, so you should be able to find something to delight your taste buds. If you are looking for a high-end upscale dining experience with a controlled temperature and very little noise, then you should avoid the night market. If you are looking for delicious food, laughter, and good times in the local style, then make sure that your visit to Davao City includes a stop at the Roxas Night Market.

We regularly visit roxas night market when we crave for streetfood specifically bbq. Its always a fun experience with my family. Its relatively clean. Plastic gloves are a big convenience. Food is great and will satisfy your craving. Just recently though i noticed the food stalls are dominated by just grills. Other variety foods disappeared. Desserts are a few. i guess the demand dictates the market. I hope the local governent will provide portalets. Or clean toilets. There is a pay toilet near one of the burger stand that asks P5 per entry. Dry goods area is also dominated by ukay ukay stalls. Security is good and still tight. will be coming back

It's an open area, market start at 5 PM everyday they offer and cook all kind of popular filipino food.
Grilling smokes everywhere, all sales has a place for dine in.
Yes it's open place but it's clean and organized well.
I strongly recommend that for anyone visit Philippine.
