I liked the places we went to. The guides were both nice and informative. Suggest add a couple more places to see.

This trip was fun with lots of learnings. I had a new appreciation for this festival in Pampanga, met new people and also enjoyed the food. It was very easy to communicate with CultureShock, the transpo was comfortable, and our venue seats were the best. Definitely a good experience. :)

Glad I joined the Giant Lantern Festival tour. Each stop was well coordinated, resource speakers were friendly and full of wisdom, our food were delicious, and the organizers were accommodating, alert, and helpful. Looking forward to my next trip with Culture Shock PH!

The Quiapo Heritage Tour was an excellent showcase of religious and cultural dimensions of Manila. I would have liked to spend more time in Muslim Town. Everything else was smooth and on time. I would recommend this tour to others.

The tour is a good way to catch the giant lantern show in Pampanga. Our seats were in a good vantage point and it was really a nice touch to serve hot chocolate and snacks during the show. The local meal before the show was excellent and a good introduction to the local cuisine. The only disappointment was the no-show by a lantern maker to demonstrate how to make them. Otherwise, it was well-organized and highly recommended.

It was my 4th time in Batad but this experience made it feel like I was rediscovering the place and its local culture. This immersion trip really opened my eyes to the daily lives of the Ifugao and how they harvest and take take care of their rice paddies. Spending time with the Ifugao kids and trying out their games and dances were fun as well!
The pacing was very fluid and participants never had to rush anything. The tour guide, Osep, was very calm and collected all throughout the trip and made everyone comfortable from the get go.

Very well organized, great care and thought given to the activities and interactions with the local communities, all in the majestic setting of the rice terraces of Batad. Thank you so much for a weekend of fun, learning and appreciation!

The trip may be aptly described as OHHS and AHHS. We were simply in awe of what we discovered, witnessed, tasted and tried from the lantern making to the delectable cuisine of Pampanga and the splendor and magic that the giant lanterns brought to our eager eyes. The entourage was more family than mere acquaintances.
Kudos to the organizer Osep Reyes of Culture Shock. Looking forward to more of Culture Shock Trips and Events.

Osep Reyes was calm, well-informed, courteous and attentive: all you can expect from a top guide. We felt that the San Fernando Giant Lantern Festival will grow every year to become increasingly more famous, better organised and to attract more people. So if you have a chance, join this! Really worthwhile. And this company know how to organize it.
