Entrance is located right next to McDonald's Newport City behind Belmont Hotel. We had to go through airport-style security screening (walk-through scanner and x-ray scanner for luggage and personal belongings) to get in. A very spacious elevator took us from ground floor straight up to 5th floor, where link bridge is. Public washrooms are located here as well. With luggage in tow, it took us approx 5 mins to reach Terminal 3. We only have positive things to say about Runway Manila: clean, safe and very convenient. There are directional signage (in English, Chinese and Korean) and moving walkways on the sides for those with mobility issues or those who'd prefer not to walk the entire way. While here, one could almost pretend to be inside the airport, on the way to the boarding gate.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten September 5, 2024

Runway Manila in itself is a great alternative to those looking to lessen the horrible being seated for a long time due to heavy traffic. It is most useful if you’re staying at Newport City where you can simply traverse directly to the Food Hall of NAIA terminal 3. However it is simply just a footbridge. All terminals should be given one for accessibility.

I was staying at the Sheraton Manila in Newport because I was transferring to Terminal 3 and the next morning I was leaving from Terminal 3. I was surprised at how fast it was to use Runway Manila from the airport. I usually take a taxi, but it was a waste of time. When you leave the airport, go through the corridor on the 5th floor, arrive on the 1st floor, and go out the door. If you are staying at a hotel in the Newport area, there is a free shuttle bus, but it is one way. There is no shuttle service when you go to the airport, so it is better to think about which hotel to stay at.

For years we had to take taxis to and from the three airport terminals, and it was always not a very good experience.
In August, I finally had the chance to use this Runway Manila to cross the highway from Terminal 3 to Belmont Hotel, then take a 5minutes walk to Resorts World (the casino across the airport). From the casino you can now take either a taxi with the guard of the casino calling it for you or take the Casino bus to a mall nearby or make arrangement with someone to pick you up from Resorts World or Belmont Hotel.
However, this airconditioned walkway is hardly advertised inside the Terminal, one cannot find a sign pointing you to the walkway. You have to ask the guards or airport authorities where it is and where to pass.
You have to go to the 3rd level and go to the leftmost area where the foodcourt is located. Behind the restaurants is a door leaving to the walkway. A golf cart is available for those who can't walk the whole some 1 kilometer walk, or those who have heavy luggages... but young ones would enjoy the glass encased airconed walkway, with views of the highway, and the runway.

This is an easy way to get from Terminal 3 to the hotels and mall near the airport. You have to go through security but there is lots of help for lifting your luggage. The will even take you through it in a golf cart.

Prior to traveling to Singapore, I booked a family room at Belmont Hotel for fear of missing our flight due to the heavy traffic in the area most times. I was surprised and delighted about the opening of Runway Manila a couple of weeks prior to our trip.
After checking in, we decided to look for Runway Manila and lo and behold, it was right behind Belmont Hotel! The hotel offers free shuttle service to the three terminals but we decided to just use the Runway.
Security measures were placed in all the entrances of the massive Runway. There were available golf carts for PWD, senior citizens, pregnant women and small children. The Runway was clean, air-conditioned and very much accessible to Terminal 3.

I'm amazed nobody in Trip Advisor has written yet about Runway Manila. Opened just two weeks ago, this amazing P1.9-billion project is essentially a pedestrian walkway linking Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 with Newport Boulevard in Newport City. If you're one of those who ever had the harrowing experience of crossing the 220 meters between those two points by car, you will truly appreciate the hassle free 10 minutes walking to or from the airport to Newport City. From the ending point, it's a mere 50 meter walk to Belmont hotel. There are also golf carts for pregnant women, PWD and other infirm travelers. And all free of charge! Mabuhay!

My boyfriend needed to get a haircut at Bruno's Barber so we had to went out of the airport before our flight. From NAIA Terminal 3, we walked at the Runway and had a ride shuttle ride for free to New Port City. The shuttle leaves every 30 minutes. But we had to walk back because we cannot wait for the shuttle anymore. It's roughly a 10 minute walk. This is the easiest way to go to New Port City if you need to do something prior to your flight.

Do you know if there are porters to help with heavy luggage across the Skywalk from terminal 3 to Sheraton Hotel?
Written November 17, 2024
I did a search on Google and found a short video, Lighten your load at NAIA, which said that porter assistance at arrivals is only from baggage claim to your vehicle or transport pick up point.
I don't think the porters can go to Runway Manila with you.
However, if you are able to cross Runway Manila from Terminal 3, there is a free shuttle service between 10AM-2AM and Sheraton Hotel is one of the drop-off points. I got this info off the Newport City map at Runway Manila when we were there a few months ago (June 2024).

Hello is there available trolley or carts that can be used at the lobby of Runway Manila going to Belmont Hotel? I tried searching all over the internet but I only saw golf cart being used from naia 3 walkway to the elevator going below. Thanks

I will be traveling next month to Manila via international airport. Staying at Marriott Manila. Can I use this runway to walk all the way to Marriott? Mariott is not currently providing free airport shuttle ( the hotel emailed me that they dont offer free shuttle currently)
Also with Marriott points I can choose between Marriott Manila or Sheraton for the same price. which is a better hotel ie closer to the mall and better club lounge?

Hi, is the savoy hotel near the exit of the runway?
Written February 10, 2020
The hotel right at the entrance is Belmont. Savoy is a pleasant ten minute walk away or a quick three minute shuttle bus ride if you prefer.

We are intending to use the Skybridge to get to Hilton Manila, just want to confirm that at the exit there will be golf carts or shuttle bus to take us with our luggage to Hilton Manila? thanks in advance for the help.
Written August 7, 2019
Yes there are available Vans just tell the guard or the staff on duty that you are going to Hilton..

Hi can you bring the trolley with your heavy luggages to belmont hotel?
Written April 28, 2019
I believe you can take your trolley to the end of the Runway and then there is a free shuttle bus from there to the Belmont Hotel.

We’re staying at one of the condos in Two Palm tree , how far a walk is it?
Written October 23, 2018
less than a minute or 2 from the entrance of the runway on the resort manila side.
Written October 24, 2018
Would you know if non airline passengers or non travelers are allowed to use the facility to cross over? I'm to meet someone at the NAIA 3 upon his arrival and just get a Grab when he's out and ready to leave.
Written July 16, 2018
Anyone can cross to the other side of the road via the Runway Manila. It's not exclusively to airline passengers. In fact, we even take it to go to the Food Hall when we feel like having some snacks or dinner there since there are many restaurants in the area. If you have a bag with you, then simply pass it through the x-ray machine. No hassle.
Written December 6, 2018
We are booked at the Belmont Hotel and planning on using this walkway instead of waiting for the shuttle bus. However, would you know if there are carts available inside or outside the runway so as not to have to carry 6 bags/luggages towards the hotel. This is our first leg of journey onwards for another trip to the province the following day. Would appreciate any info. Thanks!
Written April 5, 2018
Yes they have golf carts plying inside runway manila from terminal3 to the end of runway manila... then when you get down from the elevator to the ground floor with your luggages, they have guards by the door, they can call for another golfcart to carry your stuff to Belmont hotel.
