The park is in a terrible condition. Small, ugly concrete constructions have been built at random here and there, to house god knows what. Large portions of the park are blocked by metal palissades, supposedly for renovations, that have not progressed for years. Behind the palissades, there are now people living in shacks, who hang their laundry all other the place. At least 1/3 of the park is disfigured by all these. The park used to be lovely, and still houses beautiful trees, but the way it is maintained is shamefully negligent. The organisations which are supposed to maintain it should be embarrassed by this display of carelessness in one of Metro Manila’s prime areas.

Lots of trees here. Each tree has info about it. There are also interesting works of art here. It is a small park, but it is packed with awesomeness. If you love dogs, drop by this place early in the morning and you will see lovely dogs talking a walk around the park. The cats here are regulars/residents; they are clean and well-fed. You can catch them only in the morning or late in the afternoon.

Take a stroll through this beautiful park and you will instantly restore your soul and bring you peace of mind. The beautiful Koi Pond in the center offers you a moment to calm your thinking and just walking through the greenery to see the different species of trees is amazing. I love the large stone turtles. It is well worth the visit and does justice to the man in which the park is named after.

Sense of time seems to slow down and you forget what happened during the day. Reflect on your wins and loss.

Small in size but still delivers. With plentiful benches around, it is easy to catch your breath after an intense run breathing in (hopefully) cleaner air because of the lush foliage around.

Many people walk their dogs here and also just sit and enjoy the peace and greenery. There are an amazing assortment of trees to wander around and read descriptions of.

Not as big and flashy like Greenbelt, the park is simple and well maintained.
A nice pond and walk ways with amble seating and a few ok photo ops.
Over all the park is a good place to escape the crowds and only a few hundred meters from the Greenbelt complex. Worth the 5 mintue walk from Greenbelt just for that little local experiance.

That last prohibition. You need to get a permit to take a photo (if you're using DSLR, don't know if it's the same case with mirrorless cameras), even if you're just taking a photo of a family member after a run. Take note that I am not a photographer by profession.
