Came across this space while walking through Makati. It was a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the throng that is Makati. Located near green belt and landmark shopping centres. Spend a while to relax and calm yourself from the stress of the Phillipines traffic.

Good place for lunch or dinner. it's not really a park but a small green place in between the mall. Big mall on each side. Different restaurant outside or inside

If you are planning to visit Manila, Philippines and would want to have a great night, then go to Greenbelt. It's the safest of all the place to go out at night with bars located in one mall "Greenbelt." It has several movie theaters on the second level. It was designed like a terraces of restaurants and entertainment bars. You can find fine dinning restaurants too. For those who likes hip hop, there are bars located at the second floor, the most popular hip hop bar is Absinth. If you like Latin and would want to listen to salsa, mambo, cha-cha and dance, go to Cafe Havana at the first level... much more... its fun... visit Greenbelt to see what I mean.

The Greenbelt Park is located in Makati and is made up of 5 smaller mall sections known as Greenbelt 1-5. We almost always end up at the Greenbelt Park and Shopping Malls at one point or another when visiting Manila.
In our opinion this is the most relaxed and best overall shopping and dining area in the city. The five Greenbelt buildings offer 300 shops and restaurants and encompass a green area, which many refer to as the Park.
The Park area includes some open green space, small artificial pools with fish, a few interesting statue figures a chapel and is surrounded by alfresco dining and bars. Unlike other park areas in Manila, the Greenbelt Park area is kept meticulously clean and well kept from what we have seen over the years. During our last visit they had even set up a projector and outdoor movie showing area that was quite nice.
In addition to the shopping and dining options, you can visit the good Ayala Museum located at Greenbelt Park as well as other nearby shopping malls like Glorieta and SM Mall. Additionally, there is Fort and Power Plant shopping malls which are a bit further away in Makati.
Overall, the Greenbelt Park and Shopping Mall in Makati is one of the nicest areas of the city to visit and spend time, it is a place we will continue to return to during trips to Manila.

What a nice surprise to see a mini green park in the middle of a shopping complex. Great experience/concept which should be adopted by other major cities. Surrounded by many restaurants and shops, the Greenbelt buildings (1 to 5) offer a wide selection of options to visitors. It is also connected to other shopping complexes and within walking distance to each other. You could easily spend the rest of the day here after the usual morning tours (when it is warmer in the afternoons).

My wife and I live here now and have watched the development of Makati for more than 30 years. This is a lovely area with a relaxing ambience and a village feeling. Sunset drinks alfresco alongside the park is a great experience. You are surrounded by endless restaurants and shopping to satisfy all desires. There is a little stream and church in the park with ducks, tortoises and koi fish all around. Try this area to have a little taste of nature and the best that Makati can offer.

Not every mall has their own park and church so this is one of the unique things about Greenbelt that I find really appealing. The park is really peaceful and serene considering you are surrounded by shops and restaurants. It's a perfect spot to rest and relax after a long day walking around the mall.

Spent the day walking through Metro Manila and found this gem. Surrounded by peaceful building of the Greenbelt shopping areas (1-5) you can find tons of shopping to high end shoppes. You cannot say you do not have enough choices for lunch or dinner with the variety of restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating. This place is incredible and very clean. Check it out if you are in Manila.

When you enter the Greenbelt area, you feel that the air is cooler. Not because of the air conditioning but because there are plenty of greenery arranged in tasteful landscapes. That it appeals to the eyes & soothes the soul.
A welcome addition to any dense concrete jungle. Great place to lounge & relax.

Are taking photos prohibited?
Written March 24, 2018
There is no restictions in taking photos.
Written March 24, 2018
I do not see a reason for it not to be allowed. However, it might not be appropriate as the walking path itself is not that wide and is usually very crowded. The park itself is small and would be much suited for sitting down and taking a break more so than walking around.
