We did a 2 night stay (during the pandemic) -Checking in When we got there and parked at the bakery and asked how to check in, a masseuse helped and ask us to wait but didn't tell us for what. Turns out they radio-ed a buggy to take us to the information desk which is further in the 1 hectare place. Checking in was a weird experience the front desk lady r... was like a robot reciting memorized lines in a hurry or a police who we disturbed by processing us 5 mins before lunch break. R... explained that we had 2 nights stay and we had "1 breakfast and 2dinner, first dinner no meat need to pay for meat, 2nd dinner callos and pusit. The attraction ilog is closed due to rain". She handed over the keys and golf cart dropped us off the villa. -Area The walk paths are nice trees, flowers, nature everywhere. Friendly Dogs and cat, butterfly, stingless bee roaming the property. -Room Was almost okay but had bugs all over the place, ants and cockroachs. Didn't notice until we jumped into bed after showering at night that the bed was damp and smelled musky. room provided for citrunella oil as insect repellent but didn't seem to help. Killed 3 roaches that night. There was 2 small night stands one of which is already full with router and books and old linen which they boast to be hand embroidered but smelly and old. There's one old looking wardrobe when we opened it it smelled like it hasn't been opened in a decades. Room was decorated with cloth and a mosquito bed net which smelled bad. There where wind chimes that sounded like my phone alarm and roofing material that somehow makes rain sound louder. There windows had a net to prevent insects to come in but there we are holes in it. In the morning we requested for cleaning and new sheets. New sheets smelled nice and new. + There was wifi There was 2 water bottles in the room one had broken cap and tasted funky. Room toilet Was small and Crammed toilet sink and shower together. Floor was filled with pebbles. -Food Food was okay. Salad was fresh, juices fresh but was too sweet even with out sugar, turns out it came with lots of honey. View from the dinning area was great. -Staff Most staff seamed happy except for r.... One server , Joel, stands out with excellent service! Kitchen staff are quite loud though you can hear them from the kitchen while dinning and enjoying the view. I saw one staff knock on the shared toilet with a customer inside shouting if anyone was inside. Maybe she had to go. -Spa Spa facility is good. 1st massage we got was above average, however my masseuse stopped for a bit to use her phone, i looked at her she got guilty and started the massage again. when we went back we got masseuse with long nailes that scratches us while we get massage we went home with more have the scratches and nicks than relaxation. It came with tea that's full of sugar or honey or syrup enough to make your eyes and teeth hurt. -Tour Garden tour was informative and interesting

The place is gorgeous. Calming and charming. We stayed in one of their rooms with my sister. The beds were very comfortable, beddings and pillowcases were very soft, pillows were fantastic. The bathroom was so clean and luxurious with all the amenities. The place was so peaceful and relaxing without the hassles of tv, internet and refrigerator. You are surrounded with nature.
The food at the restaurant was the best and the service was excellent.
All the staffs were great and accommodating with their smiles and gestures.
If you want to go to a place away from home and be with nature, this is a place for you.

The massage that I got is one of the best ever! The masseuse are all DOH accredited. They are professionals and friendly. :) Had their buffet lunch but mushrooms are chewy and meh. The pasta sauce white with mango and sun dried tomatoes when combined are good, the salmon belly is meh. They could have done better and added seasonings, the salad bar is ok and desserts as well. The place is ok but I’m not impressed. The redeeming factor is the massage that I got. So if you visit Sonya’s garden make sure you get a massage even if it is foot massage or reflexology you won’t regret it!

If you are staying at the Sonya's Garden B&B, you must get a massage from their Spa. Get the 1.5 hours massage and you will never regret the money you will pay for it.

I thought that the spa at the Westin Denarau in Fiji was the best until I had the massage in here. Ahhhmazing.

My colleagues and I has this summary of a word for our massage experience with Sonya's Garden Spa. There was even a wedding when we went there so the mood was very festive yet still relaxed. The spa is situated on the east side of the compound, parking in front and on the left front side of the location when you arrive at the place. Spa sessions should be booked ahead due to a very high influx of customers everyday so it becomes very difficult for walk ins to get a reservation. Foot spa and whole body massages are their best sellers. Their individual spa rooms are equipped with hot and cold shower with shampoo and liquid bath soap to either shower before and/or after the massage to take out the oil from the massage. The translucent window of the shower allows natural light to come through while water is flowing through it which still protects your privacy while you bathe. It also has hangers for your clothes and a locker for your belongings. The masseuse hands you the key upon arriving in the rooms and the batik "balabal"/scarf that will serve as your towel and/or cover up as you approach the massage bed. The massage bed has a head rest even you are facing down. Guess what you are facing down...a bowl of flower petals floating in water. Isn't that super nice? The massage takes an hour or so excluding your shower and a serving of semi hot sweet tea with a dropping of a fresh herb is left on the bed after you shower and wash down the excess oil. Everything feels fantastic, homey, fresh and wonderful in their gardens. A Victorian enclosure is even available for public viewing only though. Gardens and landscapes of vines, flowering shrubs and herbs abound the place giving it a very close-to-nature vibe that relaxes and rejuvenates you. Picture spots are designed with hanging linens equipped with either chairs or at one spot, a bed. After the massage, one of my colleagues and I tried to explore the Garden, took some photos and went inside the bakery store, Apothecary and fresh produce stall. There were breads, pastries, salad dressings, herbs for sale that you can grow at home and/or as more practical souvenirs. There's also a restaurant and a hall for big occasion/s such as weddings.

We stayed in a new area of 3 cottages i was told 4mn walk from main cottages area, spa and restaurant. Our cottage was nice and renovated, my parents s was not at all renovated, oldish, with so many ants in the toilets for 2 days. It is more 10mn walk than 4mn. First night a group of dogs caged not far barked until 1am. Rate for those cottage that are far from restaurant, spa, across the street should be at much lower rate than 7000 for a couple. I would recomend the place but not those cottages.

I was so excited to try their restaurant because of their organic food offerings. However, their dinner buffet was overpriced in my opinion. The food served on the buffet table were cold and looked unpleasant. The salmon belly sucks! Not fresh and definitely reheated from the day prior. I'm not dining here again if I go back to Tagaytay.

Sonya's garden is the best place for a quick nature tripping and blissful marriage events place. The food is organic and one should not expect all meat meals. It's a good experience to dine at Sonya's. Very relaxing and sets the mood to a trance.

I had no expectations when we had the authentic Filipino Hilot. The attendant took payment before the hilot was done. I was disappointed that their CC machine was offline that time. They did not have manicurists as well when we went there.

The room has a massage bed adjacent to a spacious shower room.

The attendants were rowdy outside since they were working on Christmas day however the noise was muted by the sound of water from the man made falls.

The massage was great. The therapists hands were not heavy. The ambiance and sound added to the great experience.

Most relaxing and envigorating. I realize that the difference between Sonya's Spa and other spas in the city is the surrounding where the mood sets your mind. I think the treatments would be almost the same except that the garden makes this experience all the more relaxing and special.
