Arrived at 9.30 and was told it wouldn't open until 9.30... Having punted out the time, this was corrected to 10am. We waited nearby and returned after 10, only to be told it was now closed due to a board meeting. It might open after noon... Unfortunately this kind of disorganisation gives Philippine tourism a bad name and is what differentiates Thai standards versus here... A real shame, and I hope someone points this out to the CJH management office which is located 25 metres from the entrance to the Bell House.

Well, I'm not pretty sure if Bell House Camp John Hay still allows tourists to have a photo shoot in here. I visited this place a long time ago together with my classmates.

Oh man! Here comes a one-stop shop for the overruns! Great buys huh??! Of course, Camp John Hay is also composed of a golf course - its wonderful! I love the place - I really do! The ambiance and the weather matched so well and it feels like I'm in other western countries :)

A beautiful American colonial architecture, the Bell House reflects the lifestyle during its era. It used to be the resthouse of Gen. Franklin Bell. He was the one who transformed Camp John Hay to a military resort.

From the outside it look as if the place has not much to boast about but as you get in you can see the lush greenery, the massive bright colors of the flowers, the chinese temples and gondolas. Getting to the top is restricted so you wont be able to take photos using the gardens atop the temples as your background.

Visited this place to attend my colleague's wedding. Its an amazing venue to chose for wedding like events. Full of green and maintained very well. You can easily guess why Baguio is considered as Summer Capital of Philippines.

The place has distinct advantages over disadvantages. One is the history it offers. the house is well preserved that its like travelling back in time. The long table and mirrors in the dining room to the grand piano and the Master's bedroom are well preserved showing the lifestyle of John Hay, the American military man connected to the creation of Baguio City. Coffee can be taken with bread while resting on the veranda. two it is proximate to all the other sites like the amphitheater in the garden beside it and the tree top zipline adventure for thrill seekers. Easy to find and easy to appreciate. Entrance fee is minimal. Great find.

If you are into a historical quest and know how and why then this place is very very nice to see and visit. We stayed in one of their dorm apartment when we visited the place only for 1 day...the place is very nice over looking the amphitheater it is very nice to do your jogging and walking especially barefooted in the grass.
Additional plus factor is the clean quiet place you can surely have a nice photo souvenir for you to bring back in your country

This old house is nice to visit. During our visit, the library is not available to visitors...it's under repair.
Nothing special on this house...just an ordinary old furnitures, piano and rooms....not quite huge. It's just an ordinary house.

It lets you see a house that shows a glimpse on the American History of Camp John Hay. It's nice and well maintained. Perfect to visit during the Summer because the flowers on the amphitheater is TOO BEAUTIFUL.
