We arrived in Baguio in December at night, on the walk to the hotel I noticed this road with many lights and it was super busy around there. Session Road is in the heart of Baguio City, everyone who visits Baguio City will pass through this road. Seems like they close the road at certain times to allow people to enjoy the area better, lots of places to eat around and shop.

This is the main street of Baguio and has the lot from banks, hotels, fast food shops, Robinsons, SM, buses, jeepneys and is always busy. There is Upper and Lower Session Road.
Session Road derives its name from the fact that it used to lead up to the old Baden-Powell Hall, where the Philippine Commission held its sessions from April 22 to June 11, 1904 and officially initiated the use of Baguio as the Philippine Summer Capital. The old Baden Power Inn is now closed where there is a marker.

If i'm not mistaken Wagwagan Outlets are sprouting every night in Session Road. As the place is walking distance from our hotel, we visit it by night; the time that the roads are closed to give space to the sellers. A fun experience and a must-do while having a vacation in the Summer Capital of the Philippines.

Probably the busiest street in Baguio - all within a walk's reach. Food crawl in every step, thrift shops in every block. Sunday is best - the street is closed for a whole day sale of sorts! Draw your on map based on the best preferred itinerary - restaurants around the "ukay" area.

Pandemic comes, but happiness of Baguio People is always there. Back then when there is not yet COVID,me and my family used to go in town. Session Road is also one of the most beautiful places here in Baguio that usually teenagers and every family been through. Usually, when they open the road for Sunday's. It's like, I can feel my freedom because we used to write all we want to write on the Road. Especially, after church we go to session and be happy. This Pandemic time, less people are visiting Session right, but the happiness in the eyes of everyone makes me feel that it is worth it to keep all the memories with our love ones. 😍

The whole length of session road offers international and local restaurants. You will not run out of options. It also hosts numerous ukay-ukays (thrift shops) and supermarket. Booking a hotel along this road will give you access to your daily needs. I recommend the Tea House for dining as they prepare authentic Chinese dishes. If you want to fill your stomach without breaking the bank, you can have your meal at 50's Diner.

Don’t waste your time on session road. It’s ugly, polluted. There is nothing about it that is appealing.

It's been decades since I've been here and Baguio of course has definitely changed. Not sure for the better but it's crowded and not as nice/clean as I remember. But if you're into Ukay Ukay shops you will definitely find them here on Session Rd. They are everywhere.

This review is quite late. Session Road is a very popular street in Baguio City and it gets congested with traffic especially during the rush hours. The night market attracts lots of shoppers.

Session Road is the main thoroughfare in Baguio City. It starts from Leonard Wood Drive and ends at Burnham Park and Malcolm Square. For a short distance of barely 2 kilometers or so, this stretch is where people converge particularly at night....the tourists, the students, the locales, the youth, the groupies and all sorts of people. One will find many eateries on both sides of the road, Don Henrico's (the homegrown pizza place), Pizza Hut, Pizza Violante; La Patria (an old restaurant famous for the native chocolate drink) and pubs and bars. Affordable hotels also dot SessioRoad since it is so near the bus terminals. Every night also starting at 9:00 p.m. to midnight, Harrison Road at Burnham Park closes to give way to the night market where shopping enthusiasts can find anything from flowers, plants, belts, scarves and the famous ukay-ukay relief goods. Original brands which are pre-owned abound and can be bought at affordable prices anywhere from P300 to P1,000 for a jacket and P100 for scarves. At night, the temperature dips down to very comfortable levels of 10C to 20C and the walk along session road and Burnham Park is quite envigorating with the chilly air.

Sorry for the late reply but I hope for those who will read this it would be helpful.
Going here at Baguio City it is advisable if your in a group a transient is affordable. There are locals who offer near Victory Liner. But if your someone who would want more comfortable environment then book earlier in hotel. More importantly if you want to come for Panagbenga Festival which is the big event here, notify and book atleast a month in a hotel or transient that you can find in facebook.
