This was a great way to see the Canal and surrounding area. The train was clean and provided snacks and drinks. You can move around and it is a fun way to see sights.

The train takes you from the Atlantic to Pacific along the Canal. Great views from the dome car. There are snacks and drinks available.

We took the train from Colon to Panama. It was part of a tour organized by our cruise line, Holland America. We chose to sit in the dome car section, very nice. Clean, comfortable, good bathroom. Fantastic views.

The security guy at the booth will ask for a bribe, but it was only a dollar. Also, the town is a but scary.

No need to book train. you pay on the train and it is buttons with a snack box included. Only one carriage is glass top though so queue at the platform 10 mins early
