The journey into the mountains was spectacular. However the tomb was very disappointing. Lots of litter around (unusual for Oman). Would not recommend anyone to visit.

Compared with other really impressive tombs eg in Vietnam this one is more or less simple built. Would I have traveled there if I would have known it in advance? Surely not.

Nabi Ayoub is the prophet Job who came from Damascas and died in Salalah. This is one of his claimed tombs. It is in the mountains behind Salalah and is worth the journey - the mountains must be beautiful in the monsoon (albeit overrun with...More

Prophet Ayub's grave is set deep in the mountains around 45 minutes to an hour from Salalah. The route is filled with camels, cows and other wild life. The views on the way are spectacular. The mosque and grave site itself is very peaceful and...More

Historical and religious place on top of hill. A must visit place in Salalah. The history is well explained there. Little walking is required from the parking. We saw many camels, experienced camel feeding.

Pretty much sums up the place. No sense history at all. A good view over Salalah but little other reason to come here in my opinion. Nice view over Salalah but little other reason to come here in my opinion.

It is very far away. The site is not very organized. It is not very well maintain and the truth is questionable. If you are in Salalah for a few days and you don't have anything else to do, then maybe do it. But if...More

Supposedly there are some sacred footprints up there, but we couldn't find them. The drive is beautiful - even in November after the Khareef. Very little is marked however, but the caretakers were friendly.
